Last "at sea" day!

This morning we woke to rollicking seas again.    We turned on the ship status TV channel to find in Spanish (I think) the wind speed of viente apparente 70 mph!!!!!

Luckily, we are basically sailing into this wind.   The outside decks are all closed.  They don't want anyone to blow overboard!    I think I am acclimating, as one is supposed to do after some time in rolling seas.   I am actually sitting in the Eagles Nest on the tenth deck of the ship and I am doing fine.   This is real progress and I hope to be able to enjoy my last day at sea.     It is pretty, whitecaps everywhere and partly cloudy skies.

This has been a travel experience for me.    In general, I have really enjoyed the ship.   You get into a different pace and meet lots of lovely people.    The ship has everything you can imagine, including a gym, spa, library, movie theatre, culinary center, etc.   all sorts of entertainment.   There are shows every night, and activities all day long.

On the other hand, the ship and your stateroom can be confining.    You cannot hop off when you get bored!     I think there is something to be said for enforced stillness!

To Melbourne tomorrow and back to Sydney on Wednesday for Erin and Michael's wedding on Thursday.   Flo and I are getting excited about that.
