Reykjavik

I arrived in Reykjavík today after an overnight flight. I was able to take a good nap and then have the energy to go explore the Center City.I went to the top of Hallgrimskirkja, the famous church in Iceland. This is only about two blocks from where I am staying. I found a really great  airbnb apartment that is right in the center city and close to everything. So far Iceland is great. I am hoping for a good nights sleep tonight. It won't get dark until after midnight and then the sun comes up at about 3 AM. I am tired enough that I should be able to sleep anyway.

Next morning.......didn't get to sleep til very late, but then I slept well and late!    Here are several pictures I took yesterday.  The first is from the top of Hallgrimskirkja church, the second at the old harbor, and the third in the city center.      Off to do ore exploring today.
